ARTstor Announces

* ARTstor at the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) Annual Meeting *

We wanted to let you know that ARTstor will be attending the upcoming
Society of Architectural Historians (SAH) Annual Meeting in Savannah, GA.
From April 26-28, 2006, we will have a booth in the Savannah Ballroom at
the Savannah Marriott Riverfront Hotel (100 General McIntosh Blvd, Savannah,
GA 31401). ARTstor representatives will be on hand to provide updates on
ARTstor activities and answer questions about using the Digital Library.
Attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth for demonstrations. Please
feel free to forward this message to others at your institution who are
planning to attend this meeting.

* ARTstor at the 41st International Congress on Medieval Studies (ICMS) *

ARTstor will also be exhibiting at the upcoming 41st International Congress
on Medieval Studies (ICMS) in Kalamazoo, MI. The congress is sponsored by
The Medieval Institute at Western Michigan University . ARTstor will have
a booth (#36) in the Exhibits Hall (Goldsworth Valley III) from May 4-6,
2006. Congress attendees are encouraged to stop by table #36 to meet with
representatives from User Services, Library Relations, and Collection
Development. They will be available to answer questions and conduct
demonstrations of the ARTstor Digital Library. Please feel free to forward
this message to others at your institution who are planning to attend the
Congress.

ARTstor Demonstration and Roundtable Discussion

ARTstor will be hosting a session at the conference on Friday, May 5th from
10 - 11:30 AM (Session #267 in Sangren Hall, Room 2302). After a brief
introduction and demonstration, three speakers will discuss their experiences
working with and sharing collections through the ARTstor Digital Library:
Colum Hourihane, Index of Christian Art, Princeton University; Catherine
Yvard, Bodleian Library, University of Oxford; and Tim Ayers, Corpus Vitrearum
Medii Aevi and Centre for Medieval Studies, University of York. An open forum
for discussion with the speakers and ARTstor representatives will follow.

* ARTstor at the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) Annual Conference *

ARTstor representatives will be attending the upcoming 34th Annual
Conference of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) in Banff,
Alberta, May 5-9, 2006.

We will have a suite at the conference hotel to provide updates on ARTstor
activities, answer questions about using the Digital Library, and offer
training to participants. Individuals who are interested in visiting the
suite are encouraged to contact us to schedule an appointment. Representatives
from User Services, Library Relations, Collection Development, and Museum
Relations will be available to answer any questions and provide demonstrations
of the Digital Library and content in ARTstor.

Suite Location: The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel

Suite Hours: Sunday, May 7th, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM;
Monday, May 8th, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

To schedule an appointment in advance, please contact User Services at
userservices@artstor.org or 888.278.0079. Shalimar Fojas will be staying in
the suite; please ask for her at the hotel front desk to find the suite number.
There will also be a poster in the lobby directing you to the suite.

ARTstor User Group Meeting

There will be an ARTstor User Group meeting on Sunday May 7th from
7:00 - 8:30 AM in the Shaughnessy/Beatty Rooms in the hotel conference center.
Both participants and non-participants are welcome. The program will include
updates on new collections, new enhancements, and upcoming initiatives.
There will be time for questions and a light breakfast will be served.
