Changes at ChoiceReviews.online

We are pleased to announce that Version 2.0 of Choice Reviews Online
will be available for your use beginning January 5, 2007. We are quite
sure that you will share our enthusiasm about the many enhancements and
expanded functionality of this extensively revised, redesigned, and
improved version of Choice Reviews Online! As a current Password
Edition subscriber, you will enjoy two important new benefits:

* No limit to the amount of password accounts available with your
subscription.

* Campus-wide access via IP address authentication.

In addition, all personalized user information, e.g., usernames,
passwords, profiles, and lists, will be transferred from your current
Choice Reviews Online account to Version 2.0 effective December 22.
Because personal user information content saved after December 21 will
not be carried over to the Version 2.0 site, it is very important that
you notify all of your password account users to this effect.

Effective January 5, all current Choice Reviews Online users will be
able to access their current lists and profiles by logging on to Version
2.0 using their existing ChoiceReviews.online username and password.
With Version 2.0, you and your colleagues will continue to have access
to our complete review database (over 115,000 Choice reviews - every
Choice review published from September 1988 to the present). You will
also enjoy many new features and content. Among these are:

* Campus-wide access via IP address authentication. (Available once you
have entered your IP address/range into your Choice Reviews Online
account-instructions will be sent soon. And, for this subscription
term, you will have no simultaneous user restriction.)

* Unlimited password accounts. Now everyone on your campus can choose
to register for our new and improved personalized services: Saved Search
Strategies, My Lists, My Monthly Reviews, and My Profile. Best of all,
you need do nothing to administer these individual accounts! And, your
users who choose not to register will still have full access to all
content and the ability to create, edit, e-mail, download, and print
customized lists of reviews while they are online.

* Access to all of the editorial content currently found in Choice
magazine, including our bibliographic essays, forthcoming features, and
all special editorial features.

* New Web Exclusives that will only be available to our online
customers.

In the near future we will be contacting you with instructions to
administer your Choice Reviews Online account. On our password
protected management site you will be able to edit your contact
information, and add/edit your IP address/range and timeout value. You
will also be able to enter referrer URLs and library card authentication
specifics.

Once again, please inform your current users of these important details:

1. All usernames and passwords, profiles, and lists that were
created and saved in the current ChoiceReviews.online will be
transferred to the new Choice Reviews Online site.

2. The transfer of saved information will occur Friday, December
22. Any personalized content saved after December 21 will not be
carried over!

3. When you begin to use the new Choice Reviews Online as of
January 5, 2007, log on with your existing ChoiceReviews.online username
and password. By clicking on My Profile, you may change your username
and password at any time.

4. While you are in My Profile, please fully review your profile
settings and note the many additional options that can be selected.
