Ursus publishes articles on all aspects of bear conservation,
management, and research worldwide. Articles report on original
research, reviews, and syntheses of previously-reported information,
innovative philosophies and opinions, short biological notes, and public
policy or legal aspects of conservation concerning any of the eight
species of bear worldwide.

The International Association for Bear Research and Management is a
nonprofit volunteer organization made up of several hundred members from
over 20 countries and is open to professional biologists, wildlife
managers and others dedicated to bear conservation.
